Passionate Explorer
My name is Amanda and I was born and raised in this beautiful coastal town. As a young girl I became very passionate about food and decided to pursue a career in hospitality. After university, I traveled and worked as a cook in some of the top hotels and restaurants in the world and after almost 10 years away from home, I realized that Mexico is where my heart was and returned. For the past 5 years I’ve had the opportunity to share my passion and culture with people from all around the world by hosting Mexican cooking classes and also working as a food tour guide. I have designed these tours to help people all around the world experience an authentic version of Mexico.

I caught the travel bug at a young age, and haven’t stopped moving since! I love touring the world, seeing incredible sites and learning as much as I can about them, which is why I became a Food Tour Guide in 2015.
My mission in life is to share my passion for touring and travel with others. As a professional Food Tour Guide, I can add so much to your travels. I believe in really experiencing the places you visit, and seeing much more than the usual recommended sites.
